A Word From Our 2010-11 PTA President
Dear Maverick Parents & Teachers,
The incoming 2010-2011 PTA Board is already hard at work getting ready for another awesome year at IES -
we are so excited! Our motto: It's all about the kids! Thank you to the out-going board for making this an easy
transition. Your organizational skills are off the charts and you set up a solid base for us to take flight! We are
truly in your debt!
We have plenty of volunteer openings if you would like to get involved: Treasurer (Board Position); Historian
(Board Position); Spirit Wear (Chair Position); Room Parent (Chair Position); Yearbook (Chair Position);
Student Programs - Maverick Math, School Supplies (Chair Position); Box Tops (Chair Position); and
Volunteers (Chair Position); and of course helping with any of the listed committees.
If you have an interest, then please let me know. We welcome all volunteers and can't wait to meet new faces,
make new friends and work together for our sweet little IES Mavericks and our amazing IES teachers and staff!
